It seems we as moms are always frustrated about something... it's the kids, our husband, family or our home. There's always these nagging issues driving us crazy and causing us to live in a constant state of frustration and resentment.
Well I've come to learn many of these scenarios are the result of two key issues - setting and communicating expectations. The staggering impact of not having this in place creates a spiral of circumstances always leading to disappointment and frustration. We are going to go through several examples and you'll see what I mean. Your eyes will be given fresh perspective and insight into how to change the narrative of your day.
Don't miss the practical steps to implement setting and sharing expectations so you can finally be on the same page as a family and experience more peace in your home.
And if you could use someone to bounce ideas off of and get help with solutions... Hi, it's me :) Let's get that strategy session started - If you're always struggling with the same task or situation, (you know the thing that just popped in your head) let's make solutions happen, checkout the "pick your brain strategy session" with me: https://calendly.com/mommadeplans/strategy

We’ve all heard the phrase “it takes a village” when it comes to raising children. But what happens when you don’t have enough people consistently supporting you and it feels like you’re doing motherhood all alone. To some degree, we’ve all been there.
Today, we get a fresh take on how to create a village from a different perspective. A way to ensure we support ourselves in creating an intentional motherhood that can be a bit easier.

With 3 young kids herself, she started to feel overwhelmed with all that was on her plate every week. Rather than focus on trying harder to be the perfect mom or micro-managing her responsibilities, she took the approach of figuring out what was at the root of why she felt so overloaded and then developed the easiest possible solutions to help her and her family run smoother. With 10 years of strategic sales background for a Fortune 15 company, she self-developed the Rally the Village program to provide moms the support they need each week.

Are you in the 1,000's or 10,000's of photos on your phone? The struggle is real with dealing with all the photos that accumulate on a weekly basis in our phones. From the ones we actually want, to the random screenshots to the blurry half selfies from our kids.
It's an overwhelming feat to tackle decluttering and organizing our phones. Well thankfully we don't have to start at square one and go back to our first photo. We start implementing systems starting today and move forward.
There's so many helpful tips today including:
-Start implementing the Sunday select-Actually use your favorites and folders-How to get yourself to delete photos of your kidsThere's a lot more and then some really surprising insights about the meaning printed photos have for our children even from a young age. Want more decluttering & home organizing tips? I've create a custom playlist just for you with all the decluttering theme episodes in one place. Just hit play to start the journey or scroll through to find the episode that matches what you're working on now!https://www.mommadeplans.com/declutterplaylist

One of the best times of year to declutter is right before the holiday season. To have a clean slate and be able to decorate.... have space in your kids rooms before the new stuff arrives...
However, sometimes we don't have time to do a real decluttering session in our home. But we still need to get more space- functioning in our kitchen and other areas of are home are making daily life a hassle. You need a quick fix to improve the situation...
Insert the extras bin! This system can be a great option to pull out of your back pocket and clear some space in your home. You're quickly going to realize you have a lot of extras... coffee mugs, pillows, towels and more. You're decluttering without necessarily getting rid of anything yet. (although it's a perfect time to do so!)
Utilize this extras bin method to be able to easily bake this holiday season and have room for all the festivities. Message me and let me know how you use an extras bin!

We all pretty much struggle with too much clutter in our homes. Today we try to address one of the root issues of how we get there... our buying habits that get us into trouble of constantly bringing new stuff to pile up in our house.
It can start in the store with caving into our tantrum throwing children who won't stop asking for a toy or candy or whatever it is they decide to obsess over. Then it's the all too easy access to a quick amazon purchase...And the closet is a whole other beast to tackle...
Well we go over some practical shifts in our mindset and expectation around buying items for our homes. And this includes some aha moments including the pyschology of the cocktail dress you will hear at the end.
You're going to feel a lot more empowered to slow the accumulation of stuff in your home after listening to today's awesome conversation!
