Hey,
It's usually a resounding yes when someone asks if you have stress in your life? I mean hello, I'm a mom!

Well, let's dive into this and figure out the specifics of what stresses you out on a regular basis. We go over a simple practical way to find our stressors. And take a moment to reflect on if we are willing to give up the frazzled, stressed out life that we sometimes wear like a badge of honor.

Let's identify that stress, find solutions and bring more moments of joy into our life. Sound like a plan? Let's get to it...

“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.”‭‭Psalms‬ ‭94:19‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Hey,
Self awareness is a foundational piece to living an intentional and productive life. It's an important topic here on the podcast and I wanted to take a moment to look at what the Bible has to say about self awareness. It's important to know and be willing to see what God's truth is.

So I did some research and found several verses that give us insights into the nuances of self awareness and how that is a part of wisdom and understanding. There are some great nuggets of much needed wisdom for the world today. And there's some conviction that we all need to sit with and take a moment to reflect on.

As always, self awareness helps us actually be more aware of others and have increased empathy and grace for those around us. The point is to use what we learn to improve relationships and help others in their pursuit of a Godly and intentional life.

Let God speak to you today and what you may need to focus on right now. Let's dive into the word...
With bold love, peace and intention,
Julie

Hey,
So who hasn't said, "wow how is it the end of the month already?!" or "how is it September already?!". I mean time literally flies. And somehow another month zips by and we find ourselves surprised and disappointed that we didn't get more done.
Well, instead of ending every month feeling unproductive, how about we get a little more proactive with our time? We're going to begin each month with a setting expectations episode.
I'm encouraging you to spend a little bit of time thinking about what makes sense to spend your time on in the coming month. What projects are a priority and what should be pushed back? What does your schedule look like this month? If you want to spend more time with friends then let's make that a focus that we schedule in the calendar. Just take a few minutes to really think about what you want your time to look like this month.
We are transitioning into fall and now that the kids are back in school it's time to get those routines and daily schedules figured out. And that means clearing out the summer clutter to help us move forward into the next season. There's a few things we could be focusing on this month. So we're going to talk about what that may be and just getting in the habit of being intentional with our time so we have a productive month. No more getting to the end of the month and saying well I didn't get anything done that I wanted to...
With bold love, peace and intention,
Julie

Hey,
Are you always on the search for productivity tips and better routines? Looking for the solutions to make your day run smoother and easier? Me too! It's a continual journey as our kids get older and schedules change and we need to change with them.

But there's a problem when we're always searching Google, Pinterest and social media... what often happens is we forget to ask God. You mean talking to God about daily routines and how to handle my kids?! Yup. God knows it all and knows you best. And it gets easier and easier to forget to ever talk to him about any of this. And the searching opportunities, while super helpful, can become an idol real fast.

Take a breath, open your heart and mind and join me for a vulnerable chat...
With bold love, peace and intention,
Julie

Hey,

When you're feeling stressed about your schedule and like you can't get everything done, one of the first searches we do is look for the perfect routine to solve our problem, right?

Well routines do play a big role in getting more productive. They help us figure out what to do during different parts of our day and scheduling out our activities and to-do list. However, you can quickly become a slave to the routine and just do it forever without ever rethinking it. Suddenly, one day you realize you're a bit resentful of your tasks and your schedule and no longer feel good about your day. You hit the danger zone of routines...

Listen in as we talk about how to work with a routine and avoid their dark side... Let's get enjoyably (is that a word?!) productive again!

With bold love, peace and intention,
Julie

Hey,
Often times the really helpful strategies and hacks for life are the most easy and simplistic. Today's episode is one of those. If you enjoy reading books or ever read the Bible then this one is for you!

If your current strategy for remembering those awesome takeaways and ideas from the books you read is to underline or highlight the sentence, then I've got a game changer for you. Book lovers pay attention!

Keep those pages clean and leave room for a simple hack that allows you to quickly reference all those great ideas at one glance.
With bold love, peace and intention,
Julie

Hey,
Are you tired of hearing "what's for dinner"? Or getting complaints about what you cooked or didn't buy at the grocery store?

One of the most stressful jobs moms (usually) have is figuring out dinner and doing the grocery shopping. It's a constant on our to-do list. Always trying to figure out easy meals and ways to keep the family happy and fed.

Even when we have it all together with our meal planning, it can still be a source of stress when everyone's always asking what's for dinner or not happy with what we made.
Well today we're going through 4 parts of the meal planning process and how a little communication will relieve so much stress from dinner time.
With bold love, peace and intention,
Julie
