We are really getting into the declutter process today with a step by step guide to decluttering the bathroom. You know there's all kinds of scary things wasting away in that under sink cabinet :).
So let's go through all the items you find in your bathroom and sort through what needs to stay and what has to go... you know that one eye shadow or lipstick you don't like the color of and never wear but is somehow still stored in the cabinet? We'll also go over some tips for how many towels you really need.

Let's start the decluttering process! Today we begin the room by room journey of decluttering our homes. And we are taking it easy by starting in the living room.
We talk about the questions to ask yourself as you start decluttering. Instead of just feeling like you have to clear everything out, we take an intentional approach of figuring out what's important in the space for the way you want it to look and function.
It always come down to what will make your room feel more peaceful, work the way you need it to, and will make your day easier in any way. So this means you might need to make a spot for a few toys or take out some furniture. Be open to what will make the best room for your family to want to be in during this season of life!

We're digging deep today to find that our need to plan and work and do everything to hit those goals may be rooted in the need to control.
God really hit me with a good one when he revealed that my striving to do the tasks were all to make sure I could get the result I want and therefore I wasn't trusting Him. ouch.
I thought I was wide open and surrendered and seeking him. And I think we all do. But hidden down in there, we still want to be able to go the direction we want to go. To be productive and do all the things. But underneath is all is this root issue of control.
So we're exploring the idea of self-control in the bible and how it correlates to trusting God. I pray this blesses and challenges you today!
