Hey,
Tis the season of thanksgiving. It's easy to spout off a few things to be grateful for and move on. But what about all the people in your life that often go unnoticed. That we never think to say thank you to... the cleaning staff at the office? The cafeteria workers? The landscapers keeping things looking nice and beautiful?
We have to start slowing down and take a moment to really think about all the different people that impact our life, especially the ones we never see. A simple thank you note can mean everything to that person!
And what about your spouse and children that we often take for granted and usually express our frustration on but rarely our gratitude.
We're a doing a quick dive into really thinking about the people we want to be thankful for and taking action on that to let them know. Let's start practicing gratitude...
With bold love, peace and intention,
Julie

Hey,
I've been really looking forward to sharing this topic of minimalism with you guys! I think it's something that can mean a lot of different things and we are digging in to the core of what this lifestyle can do for you and your home.
It's not about stark empty everything, it's about intentional choices of what goes in your home and what you spend your time on. I love the intentional heart of this and that's why I want you to hear more about it. We're debunking some myths and figuring out how to utilize the best parts of minimalism to simplify mom life.
It's more than just decluttering your home, it's creating an intentional lifestyle with the things you need and love and nothing more.
Our guest today, Alyssa Falkenstein, is a homeschooling mom of three who has a passion for urban homesteading and homemaking, and is currently writing a fantasy adventure novel. After losing herself in "hot mess mom" culture she wanted to find a way to thrive in her home and motherhood, which leads to helping other moms looking for the same.

Hey,
We are finishing the declutter journey with the bedroom because it can sometimes feel like one of the more overwhelming places in our home. Usually because of the closet, am I right?! Yikes, so many decisions to make about what to keep and what goes. And that's right about the time we shut down and decide not to even do any decluttering.
Well I'm giving you the tips and strategy for how to get started with decluttering and how to prevent yourself from getting stuck making decisions.
And we talk about what to do with those sentimental items probably hiding in your closet. Let's go ahead and finish this decluttering journey strong!

Hey,
We are tackling the kitchen today! It's one of the most used rooms in the house and it needs some help. It's so easy to just operate in a space out of habit and not realize how inefficient it is because of the mess and disorganization.
So let's spend some time in the kitchen figuring out how we need the space to work for us. Then decluttering as we rearrange things to fit our lifestyle. Start opening cabinets and getting rid of the excess stuff. Before you know it, you'll have a kitchen where you can actually find everything you need and easily cook in.
We have a fantastic guest today to help us navigate our messy kitchens.
Out of a passion for helping women run their homes efficiently through decluttering, meal planning, budgeting, and implementing routines, Gina Morton founded Tight Ship Mama, LLC in January of 2020.
In March of 2022 she launched a podcast, Pruning To Prosper, to bring God into the center of her work as a declutter coach. Gina uses the same principles of decluttering, money and meals along with the mindset coaching to help women prune away the practical stuff standing between them and the woman God has called them to be.
Gina is a Catholic wife and mom of four living children and one deceased child. She is a Scouts BSA assistant leader in a female troop, philanthropist, and cheerleader to all.
