Whether we want to admit it or not, as moms, we bring on a lot more stress to ourselves than we need to. We like to plan family activities and feel the need to do Pinterest worthy crafts, nature walks, movie nights and all kinds of things in the name of being a good mom. But then we do all the hard work and our kids could care less...
Insert the mom meltdown where we completely lose it on our kids because we are doing all this work for them! Why don't they want to do this fancy fun craft we spent all this time preparing for?!!
Well, I'm about to give you a mom hack... one question to start asking yourself has the power to eliminate some of your extra stress on a daily basis. Yes, I believe in it that much.
We have a tight grip on the control reigns of how different activities are supposed to go and sometimes we just need to stop and remember what the core goal is. And our job is to simply facilitate the core goal.
Let me explain... listen in on today's chat...

With bold love, peace and intention,
Julie

If you've ever had a baby or taken care of a baby, you know the 3 questions to ask when they're crying... do they need changed, fed or are they just tired?

We've all snapped at our kids when it wasn't that big of a deal and immediately regretted it but there was no going back. Well, sometimes all it takes is a quick fix to resolve our short temper. Yes there's plenty of other potential things going on but lets check the basics first to get rid of some unnecessary yelling at our kids.

It's January and everyone has planners on the brain. Trying to find the perfect one and the one planner you'll actually use. Maybe it was even your new years resolution to use a planner to organize your life and not feel so chaotic and rushed all the time.  To actually have a plan, know what you're doing each day and finish the day feeling accomplished.
Well, I don't use a planner at all to accomplish this! There is a way to keep it really simple and basic to keep track of your appointments and tasks for the day/week/month. Sometimes all the fancy planners overcomplicate things take away from the main purpose of making life easier and more efficient.
So let's dive into how to make that happen... but don't forget to sign up for my email list so you can be entered to win the Life Planner Bundle! It includes 10 printables to keep you organized and on track this year to crush your productivity and goals!

Hey,
Happy new year! It's time to make those new year's resolutions! The tricky part is picking the right one... how do you know you picked the right one? The right goal and lifestyle change that you will actually follow through on?
Today we are going to discuss the strategy of how to pick the right resolution for you. You will be able to walk away with confidence that you can really do this. You can actually pick a goal for the new year and really stick with it.
Imagine being able to say you picked a new year's resolution and you actually did it! You found one that meant enough to you... you wanted the result of that change enough to find a way to make it happen.... you took out the distraction of other changes and prioritized this one so that you could go all in on this one change.
Get out your paper and pen, because we are nailing down the specific resolution that will work for you this year!
With bold love, peace and intention,
Julie

Hey,
It's the end of the year and you know what that means... new year's resolutions and goal planning. We get caught up in the pressure of planning out the direction of our lives. There's an important step before you start the path of goal setting for the year.
First you have to be still. It's a lot harder to do than to say. And it's a catchy Bible verse about "Be still and know that I am God".  But I dug deeper into what "be still" is really saying here within the context. It's important to stop and submit to God before we dive into plans. He is the one in control and there's some convicting pieces of scripture we dive into today.
So let's prepare our hearts and minds before God before we try to force all our plans on this year...
With bold love, peace and intention,
Julie
