It's Monday, are you still rejoicing that Jesus lives?! It's easy to celebrate Easter when the church is full and everyone is excited in the moment. Last year when I drove past the church parking lot and it was empty after Easter service, I was convicted that it's easy to lose the enthusiasm when no one else is around.
I'm sharing the convictions God revealed to me that day. The power in the waiting between the tomb and the resurrection. The journey that our faith requires like literally walking into the fire. There's much to be learned and much to be encouraged by.
May you walk away from today's episode with a little conviction to continue rejoicing on this Easter Monday and with encouragement in how to grow your faith to get through seasons of waiting and just the everyday hard times.
With bold love, peace and intention,
Julie

We've started a new month, so it's time to set our expectations. Things to focus on this month include preparing for spring and summer break. You've started seeing all the summer camp options pop up and realized that time of year is quickly approaching. The stress of what to do with our kids is starting to build.
So instead of scrambling last minute, we're making our plans. Be intentional and start planning how you want to spend your time - brainstorm the activities you do and don't want to do this year.
We also start our convo today thinking about Easter and how it is such a core part of our faith. Let's give it the attention it deserves.
Join me in today's chat and don't miss the links below I refer to.

One of our biggest struggles as a mom is feeling confident in spending our time on the right things. And when we're really honest with ourselves, we're spending a lot of our time on our phones or constantly trying to do everything on our to-do list and our kids take a back seat.
It's tough to have these gut checks. Our conversation today really guides us through a unique process of being motivated by the legacy we want to leave to our kids. Because that legacy is created by how we spend our time today...

Something we often struggle with is finding time for quiet time with God. In our pursuit to build the right routines to fit everything in, we always struggle to get that quiet time in. Especially when you're not a morning person, right?!
So maybe the problem isn't that we're too busy or that we can't escape our loud children... maybe it's how we've defined what time with God looks like. It doesn't have to be exclusively a completely quiet, completely still, long period of time every single time.
We're going to discuss a different option that allows you to have a meaningful moment with God every day.
With bold love, peace and intention,
Julie

How are your transitions in your day going? Switching from getting the kids ready to starting your Bible study? How does that chaotic mindset transition to reading the word or starting your work day.... How about going from a work mindset to your kids coming home and interrupting because you were still working? Do you have the needed patience and happiness in greeting your children...Transitions in our day can be challenging but it makes it easier to improve when you think of it from an emotional or mindset state. Instead of struggling with trying to get the perfect routine, you may just need to put more intention in the transition times. Figuring out how to shift from mom mode to work mode for example can relieve a lot of your stress.
There's a lot of great planning here for you to figure out what needs to be a habit, what is just a routine and what is a ritual. Our awesome guest today is going to give us all the details:
Danielle McGeough is a professor, mom, business owner, podcaster, community volunteer, and organization junkie. How many posts, reels, or stories have you liked, saved or commented on? Podcasts episodes you listened to.... number of pins on Pinterest saved? How many of those have you ever looked at again? All those inspiring quotes, productivity tips, mom hacks that you got excited for and hit the like button... how many of those lessons learned have you used? This can be a bit convicting to realize more often than not, you like something but then keep moving on to the next thing.I'm sharing in this same realization, admitting that I'm addicted to consuming content. I listen to one podcast episode after the next without giving these ideas time to take root and taking action. What happens when we constantly scroll our phone or consume content in various ways all day long.... what are we doing with all that information? Anything?
That's what we're going to discuss today- realizing our habit to constantly take in content and what we do about it. Join me in this important 100th episode...

Three incredible women have come up with a modern tech solution to the problem all moms face with staying on top of everything in running our homes. We're burnt out as moms from carrying the load of knowing everyone's schedule, figuring out routines for the kids, keeping track of the to do list, planning dinner and shopping and every little detail that fills our brains...
What if there was an easier way to sync all the schedules so everyone can find the information they need without asking you? And the kids could look at their routines and know what to do next without asking? A streamlined way to lighten your load and have everyone share responsibility of taking care of the home and the calendar.
Yes, it's as good as it sounds! Here's more about this amazing team and their product:
Hearth Display is on a mission to simplify modern family life and make parenting true teamwork. Our vision is a world where parents don’t constantly have to be “super-heroes” by carrying the mental burden of home organization, where kids are empowered to have ownership of their day-to-day activities, and where families can have the security that their loved ones are taken care of. We have a passionate following of parents who crave more positive and collaborative moments at home and in their communities.
We're a team of 3 co-founders:

One of the hardest things to figure out as a mom with young kids is the daily schedule or routine. We're always trying to figure out a better way to get it all done... how to spend more quality time and still get household chores done... how to keep them entertained all day and help them learn too... we have a whole laundry list of requirements we should be doing better when it comes to what we do each day.
Well I've got a simple approach to making your daily schedule with your kids. Especially if you're a stay at home or work at home mom with littles. It does not involve a rigid routine with every minute planned out and it's not something you have to do exactly the same every day no matter what.
Let's talk about the 3 categories we use to plan your schedule with kids.
With bold love, peace and intention,
Julie
